Sometimes in life you meet a kindred Spirit, a kindred heart. The music embodied on this CD is the result of one such meeting. Sammie and I have known each other for many years due to our common interest in Spirit and Music. We had spoken about recording something together for a long time. We each write and share music that is a reflection of the tremendous love of God that we have been blessed to experience.

While I was in Cincinnati on a tour with the jazz vocal group, The Manhattan Transfer, we were able to record this music. It flowed out in wave after wave, needing little from us as musicians except an open heart and a willingness to listen to the Sound within.

This music offers a doorway into yet further vistas of sound. It is shared with open hearts and willing hands. When you listen, let the sounds sink down inside of you, open your heart, and let the waters of sound take you to that sacred place within us all. The Temple Within.

May you experience the joy, and love, that was present during the recording of this music and may it serve to travel beside you, as you go deeper into the heart of love.
